strap or not

Just wanna get yall opinion.

2 Dvc 1.4 subs

2 sundown 2500s

Shouls I run each amp independent at .7 ORRRR

Run strapped at 1.4 final load

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea but RMS wattage would be the same in the end right????? If so i would think you'd be better going with a higher ohm load for safety and clarity.. could be totally wrong on this but IDK. thats my thought

I have 4 xs xp3000 now an 1 xs3400 underhood with mechman 250

Biggest thing is should I strap at 1.4

or

just run em seprate at .7

Strap. Same power out of a higher impedance... think thermal, etc.

There is a thread some where where they talk about the advantages to strapping. Can't remember which member talked about it, but there was some good info on it.

Some will argue against it, but honestly, try it both ways and see which works best for you. You may see better numbers not strapped.. or you may not.

I been looking for that thread.. I think ami customs "black nasty" made it. I sent him message an he said strapped at 1.4 but I still wanna see what other members say.

Ami said to strap Steve said to not strap. From what I was gathering from that thread. The reason you strap is if your final load is 2ohms then you can strap and each amp will see the 1ohm load. They both talked about it and no matter what each amp is pulling the same power strapped at 2ohms vs wired sepertly at 1ohm. I think it's more of personal preference. I personally would strap to make tuning easer if the amps master and slave works like that

This. Ease of tuning is the only real difference and only if amps have true master/slave.

Amps are sundown saz2500. . So yeah they have true master/slave according to sundown.

Plan on running 4 of them on my 2 subs but need to bounce back from cost of recent purchased equipment

I have blue print for my new box design if yall care to take a look at it. Maybe yall can run it in torres or winsd
