If you're gonna go 3x 1920x1080 displays why not get some 120hz monitors? With a pair of 290's there wont be an issue running 120fps+

edit

I would use a Noctua cpu heatsink as well if you intend on going north of 4.5ghz

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

I'll check that out, and because I can't find any 120hz ips panel monitors for the price on I'm in.

  • 1 month later...

I just ordered up the CPU cooler and my Blu Ray and CD drives. Once tax return $$ comes in that Will get my PSU. Along with that I never locked in my benfiits at work so I got 200 taken out of a check for tobacco premium, it's on its way back to me. That will get my mobo, all that should be within a week or two. And from here on, I am trying to get atleast 150-200 per week's check to something on the PC. Should be getting together soon.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I am getting those last, letting prices drop. But yeah I am going to get those unless something better comes out.

Yeah I had seen that and that really sucks lol. Since the graphics cards are going to be the most expensive part individually in this PC. I am getting them last. So hopefully by that time They will have dropped back down to normal prices.

One thing that I noticed from your first list and the recent list you have posted is that you are going to run into a issue with your RAM and OS.

Windows 7 home can only support up to 16gbs, you'll have to switch up to atleast windows professional if you want to run that 32gb.

Hope I caught you before you ordered the OS.

My build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/143943-2001-mustang-gt-system-rebuild-box-build-pics-updated-61512/

2001 Ford Mustang GT

4.6 SOHC 380HP

270 amp Mechman alt

2 12" Treo SSX custom built.

6.47 cu ft, tuned to 32Hz

2 hifonics Brutus 2400.1, strapped

1 optima yellow top

1 Kinetic HC1800

14.4v @ 29Hz, 2k RPM

over 100ft 1/0 XS flex wire

Big 3 in 1/0

100sq ft fatmat deadener

145.3 on music, 142.6 sealed on music

Stop being a pussy and wall it off.

I hate when my google breaks too

I think the usps must be ran by a bunch of drunk ass oriental midget monkey's on methamphetamines.
