Bump4life Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 id stick to 2.75 cubes net per sub on low power. with 80 sq in of port. tune to whatever you want. id reccommend 36-40 hz. 9500s dont like anything below a true 1000 a piece. they will hit the highs but the lows will suffer since they don thave enough power to move. Bass^3 Posted December 4, 2013 Author Report Posted December 4, 2013 Thank you all for the advice & time ya took to answer.Outcome was a 802Sx on amp because 1 ohm bridged & that is as big as can go at this time on money. The 2.75 net each with 80 sq of port is is hopefully my weekend project Sat.Since it is going in back of a suburban how do ya suggest the subs and port face to get the best outcome from this setup?
Joe X Posted December 4, 2013 Report Posted December 4, 2013 The MA Audio HK802SX is a 4400W RMS x 1 @ 1 Ohm Bridged, if it actually does rated then I would probably keep the box 2.5 cubic feet net per sub. Subs up / port back, one way to do it is as follows: These subs are not recommended for low tuning so bear that in mind that, mid to upper 30s will be ok. Lastly you will need rather strong electrical upgrades to run that amount of power.
SlamminBeats Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 with that amp i refuse to give you any input. wow
