fecupe2001 Posted December 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2013 Testing out the Loudforce DB Station, this thing is AMAZING!!! something similar to an audiocontrol epicenter, it has a couple of remote knobs (subsonic and gain) , definitely gives you a very strong and deep bass line on songs that doesn´t have ANY bass at all, i was testing it with some salsa music from panama, the guy by the way is ruben blades, very nice artist that has acted on a few movies on hollywood also. fecupe2001 Posted December 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2013 Working on the roof, got a couple of 1.5" x 1.5" bars to brace it, doesn´t look nice but it does the job, still need to add some wood and build a nice headcover, works wonder so far, gained about 0.7 dbs and definitely sounds way better on music now without the crazy rattles i had before!! fecupe2001 Posted December 21, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 First actual video demoing the explorer, it has been a long way but totally worth it, car is burping over 152 at 42 hz right now with 1180 clamped watts and close to 150 at 24 hz with less than 700 watts (at least clamped watts, if you dont like it dont read it lol), would really love to get more power right now, but i need to work on the electrical asap and definitely bracing the box more, i can feel some vibrations on the sides of the box if i touch it while it´s playing at full tilt, i might build a couple of stripper poles inside the box like jared gibson has, and even baaudio had on his explorer while he used the bandpass, we´ll see what happens, in the meantime, it´s a fun demoing car with a lot of room for improvement, should be burping over 155 at 42 hz with about 4000 watts, can´t imagine how loud she´ll get once i upgrade subs and electrical to 16v Things i´ll do SOON? besides the bracing, gonna add at least 4 extra runs of ofc 0 gauge and 2 more batteries, right now , i don´t have big3, have 2 old ass northstar batteries along with an even older d3100 under the hood, and a couple of shitty soundquest CCA 0 gauge runs, electrical is pathetic right now, drops below 12v with very small power, fail!!
