Thanks for taking the time to read it man, not a huge update but i did installed 2 more batts and waiting for the second alternator, already burping close to 156 at 39 hz with 2650 clamped watts , will post some pics later coming for the loudest explorer title, looks really good man! keep it up at panama maybe lol, no way it`s even close to yours my man!!! Wagonized Posted June 29, 2014 Report Posted June 29, 2014 if you dont like the stripper pole you could reinforce your sunroof more with steel...then cover your whole roof from windshield to wall with a couple layers of mdf. imo if done right you will be louder than the stripper pole by a fair amount....and you wont gain anything by putting it back in after the roof is done. BUT its a lot of work....and if you like it as is then keep it going. My man!!!!! i actually love the stripper pole, makes me look louder , you can say i´m a car audio´s ricer lol My stripper it´s attached to the front of the roof very close to the windshield, gained like .4 dbs since that thing was moving , but is not attached to the middle of the roof or anything like that, i have 2 1.5x1.5" square tubes as bracing on the roof across side to side, helped to the ears but not on the meter, i´m definitely thinking about adding 1-2 layers of mdf on the whole roof, don´t mind all the work honestly, love doing it since i don´t have money to add/upgrade equipment so i need to get as loud as i can with what i have!! How much do you think i should gain by reinforcing the roof a lot as you said? zaim, jared and few others told me that they gained like 2 dbs, but i don´t think i could gain that much lol, still prefer to read your inputs since they are so damn accurate and good I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
