I would try to see if you can do it without walling it. If not you can just wall it then.

you say 6-7 cubes. would you have to build the box in the hatch? would you go over the tire wells? how do you get that much room?

If it is okay with you I will post some pics of the boxes that I used in my car and the scores they did with the equipment that I used. That way you can see exactly how they fit into the vehicle and get an idea of how you will be able to do so yourself. Also as far as SPL is concerned there are several tricks that I can tell you about with this vehicle that will help gain almost up to a dB on the meter without increasing equipment or power.

Ya so idk if I can do 15's in the hatch. That is if I go DD. So either switch brands, or......idk

Actually 2 15's fits well, but my loudest setup in the car was 4 12's and they fit just fine. It takes some trial and error but it is capable of being done. Each setup was musical as well peaking in the low 40hz range.

He is talking about DD subs. 2 DD 9515's would need about 8 cubes net. otherwise I would do 2 15's in the hatch for sure. btw ya you can post pics up. curious

I had a diagram of the hatch measurements before but they where on my computer that took a shit.

The trunks very slightly in size but roughly

41" wheel well to wheel well

30" bottom depth

17-18" top depth

20-21" high

Between the trim pieces at the top 28-30" if i remember right

The trick is to angle with the seat but manage to have room for batts and amps.

Some box specs I'm playing with

40" wide, 28-30" bottom depth, 20" tall, 17" top depth. Port sub up port roughly 15.5x5-6" 15-20" long

32-35" wide 28-30" bottom depth 17" top depth 21" tall aero port playing with both 10" and 6" port ideas port to driver side subs up

Similar as above but slot port driver side full bottom depth 4-5" wide unknown length.

That's what I.can think of off the top of my head as to differs ideas in going to play with. Also have one from nightshade I'm going to try out.

The bwnifit I have is only running 3800rms total. No need to have tons off batteries. Using the new RF mini power 2 & 4 channel amp with 2 1500.1bdcp. Roughly 250amperage draw on music from what RF tech has said.

run a couple banks of caps. that will be plenty. and 2 banks is smaller than a d3100.

as to how you did it.

I will post pics when I get home from work. However, the box that I ran 2 15's in for daily was 7.6 cubes net, so I'm sure there is another .4 cubes that could be eeked out of there to make them work.
