Battery light can be turned off if that's the only issue.

With a custom tune in the cars you can adjust charging voltage. It's around $450-500 for it to be done. You gain a little power and sometimes mpg. Wouldn't hurt since your adding all that weight.

I'll probably just remove the bulb. That is if it works. I will check it out this weekend.

i can build a circuit to turn the bat light off. the issue is we dont know if your car CAN run that high. sure it can take a blip up to 16 volts but sustained voltage is different. on the basline models, they dont spend a ton on parts to make the car cheaper. thus your relays and other electrical components may only be rated to 15 volts or so. will it work initially? sure, it probably would, but prolonged exposer to higher voltage vcould wear out components faster then you start getting into problems. thats why i tried to hover around 15 volts +- 20%.

youve never had banks of caps like this or an alt or even voltage at 15 volts. we shoudlo start there then boost up if needed.

Once he does a second alt like he mentioned he could run just the one alt to the sub amps with an external regulator at 16-16.8v with a 14v battery or 2. Then run the car and mid/highs off the other alt with the pcm hooked up.

Alt external regulator at 16-16.8v

2 14v batts in back running the sub amps

Alt pcm controlled, upgraded stock battery running mids/highs and car.

Hey Brandon feel free to post up any of the pics you have. it will take me a bit to get mine up.

Also, yes, the c pillar is in and its loud. it plays anything above 23hz with authority. it needs a LOT more power behind it (only on roughly 2K atm), but its loud. it doesn't do too well on the meter (sealed) since it is on low power and the acoustics of the car, but I have had many people listen to it and all of them have been very impressed. scores will be posted once I get it on some real power. but these DD's get super low. I am really happy with them so far. I still need to do trim panels, and build a false floor in the rear foot wells for the caps but that will happen when I'm done with finals, so a couple weeks. but ya pics will be up soon
