Ok so just a quick update here.

First of all, my alt should be going in very soon. really looking forward to that. Also, I did get one of the 6K's in and its doing pretty good. didn't notice a huge difference but there is also a lot more to be done. I do have to say I am a bit disappointed with the wall though. I knew I was taking a risk doing this and it turned out pretty well. could have been worse but it is really difficult to get it loud. I am going to try some different ports and stuff to see what works and what doesn't. the one issue I have been having though is too much flex. the back doors, roof, floor, windshield, dash.....everything flexes a ton and its definitely not helping my score at all. so any suggestions on any of that is appreciated.

it looks like this is the system I will have for slam. hopefully its much louder for then. if not, I wont be demoing much haha. don't get me wrong its not quiet,

but its not where I want it to be.

anyways, I will have some more pics here shortly so stay tuned for those.

So I got a lot of pics and stuff to post. kinda have gotten lazy on that. but, I do have a second amp on the way and my alt should be going in later this week. the more tweaking

and tuning I do the louder it gets. I still think I can get a lot more out of this. just have to mess with different ports and stuff. but I definitely need to seal off. when you open

the hatch it gets so much louder. so all that will get done within the next couple weeks. pics will be posted soon.

So, the alt is in and i must say i am super impressed with it. it is externally regulated so i charge at 15.1. full tilt i can hold 14.9 no problem. Big thanks to Bump4life for building such a strong alt. the alt also would not have gone in before slam if it weren't for Dangaranga. He helped me put it in since i was kinda lost when it came to how to do it. so thanks for helping me with that and putting up with me for yet another day haha. Anyways, I will post pics up of the alt soon, when i post pics of the rest of the setup. i also partially sealed off and got most of my trim in and that alone made a huge difference. once i pretty much finish everything up i will post pics. I should have everything done sometime next week so it will all be ready for slam. anyways, here are a couple vids of the voltage drop. also keep in mind i am pretty much running all CCA (which will be swapped to OFC before slam) so the voltage will get even better soon.

Also, Bump4life alternators is now called USAlternators.

Edit: Before this alt, i would be in the low 12's within a minute of full tilt.

Have you got it on the meter yet? Any events or shows? Looks like its hitting pretty good. A good alternator makes a world of difference,so i just found out myself. Looking good!

@JEFFYBOI: back when I had a meter I did meter it and it metered like shit haha. my 12's metered a 148.4 and the wall sounded just as loud if not louder. yet, it metered way less. keep in mind it has gotten much louder since. but yeah these cars don't really meter well with walls. A member on here has one walled and he had it on low power and it metered like 4 db less than his hatch setup, yet it sounded louder. for those reasons I have decided not to meter it. to the ear, it sounds loud, but to the meter I know it wont and if I meter it it'll only piss me off haha.

anyways, will you be at slam this year? I know last year didn't work out but I would love to hear the camry.

Any dash lights on since you don't have the pcm hooked to the alt?

@alaskanzx5: Yeah the only light that comes on is the battery light. besides that everything functions perfectly fine. By the way, do you know whats the highest voltage I can safely charge at is. I have had it up to about 15.5 but I don't wanna break anything.
