It sounds like that's what you were planning? Yes that is exactly what I was going to do for alingment. Woofer on rear channel and tweet and 3" on the front. Yes they will be close together so should stage well. I pulled the trigger on what I hope to be a great sounding component set. They have separate passive crossovers that cut the mids at 3500K and three settings for the tweeters 4k 4.5k and 5k. They are absolutely beautiful. Here are the pics. I am actually a little nervous about it. I just hope I don't expect too much from them. They do have a cool cone shaped tweeter mount that I could just mount to the A pillar but I think I should do it right and make a pod for the Faital pro and the focal tweeter on the A pillar. I also need to get the RF p300x2 installed and a more solid mount for it than just laying it on the floor.
