twisted1 Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Also I paid 48 bucks for 15 feet of weld cable. I paid 140 for 50ft of 1/0. Wire inside weld cable is also bigger; dont know if it hurts performance or not 09 mustang gt

Dd9515 king Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Welding wire is the real 1/0 size. Almost all audio wire is oversized. The thickness of the copper inside Veries from brand to brand. If the copper is thicker it will be harder to bend but can carry more current through.
mrtopnotch561 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 so whats the best to go with? should i go with welding cable or just get some sky high ofc /similar brands?
kingsuv Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Just because there is more strands, doesn't always make it a better product. Strand size, roping and copper content can play a huge role in power transfer. Not all copper is he same Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
