Jake Starnes
Well i figured out how to turn the rca output voltage on my hu(sub level) and turned it up, the lows are NASTY now, but the high notes sound like CRAP. Why is this? i tune things by ear btw cause no dd1 or oscope. Jake Starnes
im talking about the subs, and ok, i gues ill turn gain down, i have no bass boost either, dont see how im clipping though, only 2.2 preouts on hu, gains at half In Progress of building Headunit: JVC KDR-540 Wires: Execution Audio 1/0 CCA front to back and big 3 Amp: RE Audio dts 1500.1 Subs: 2 RE Audio SE-X 12d4s Stock Jeep Battery and 137 amp alternator 2 pioneer 6x9s and 2 jvc 4" speakers 1993 Jeep YJ Wrangler 4.0 automatic
fox_racin4
Gain position has nothing to do with clipping. Just because its at half doesnt mean its not clipping. It can be all way way down, and still clipping. 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole

john253a
because 2x 4" and 2x 6x9" off the h/u will never keep up with 1500rms of sub stage, best bet upgrade the mid/high and get it tuned propley
