kenwood amp under rated?

The best way to compare this amp to another amp for instance a crescendo 3500. Would be like comparing mpg on a h1 hummer to a bmw 7series.

im not comparing the 2 amps haha im just saying I might as well get the crescendo 3500 since I hear a lot of good comments on that amp. just waiting on my alt 1st. no point getting it now if I don't have the power to keep feeding it when I drive right? lols

I've never owned/used kenwood equipment for this reason... I actually had an other kenwood in my sisters vehicle that went up in smoke for no apparent reason the internals were just old? never ever ever smoked an amp until that moment.

i have used the kenwood 1000 and then the 1800 and i feel more from it for sure and had it for 2 years. nothing wrong with it but the fact my grown to the amp was not bolted down 2 tight. it was a little lose and that's maby why. its now reading 12.4 to 13.6 rapidly when i play at max to see how low it will go. but im fine playing my music level at 12 to 15 out of 30. and stays at the 14 mark.

i will soon buy a reader to see how much it pulls out. and post the video just so everyone knows how much it does with 2 batterys and a 320 amp alt. so close to spring time ill place a message in here with video to show what my kenwood can do before i change it to the crescendo 3500 for the summer .

k so this might not be 100% correct but i used my cap as a reader and my innova 3320 as the ACV reader and i got at 13.1 volt reading on the cap and a 74.4 to 74.5

so lets say its 70 and cap was reading 12.9 for the hell of it. ( i have a video loading showing i did this give it time.)

i would still be getting 900 rms. the amps not junk i guess.
