kirill007
http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/156565-how-to-set-your-subsonic-filter/ Why do you think no one helps you? You claim to know things that are obviously above your skill level and then turn around and ask questions like this. After this response dont be surprised if the few who gave quality advice as you call it don't bother either. The way you set up your subsonic is pretty easy and you don't need to know any specifications of the install or any type of tool (except a screwdriver offcourse). Step1: You turn the subsonic up all the way. Step2: You find the most bass heavy, lowest song you ever want to play or know to exist. Step3: Since you have already set the gain correctly, you turn your volume up as high as you are safe with the normal (bass heavy) music you listen to. Step4: Put in the song you found in step2. (Step 3/4 can be done together) Step5: Turn the subsonic down and watch your subwoofer while you do this and you may need to use some senses you have (sight, hearing). You will see, hear if the subwoofer is stressed if you hear/see this, then you turn it back a little and that's where you want it set. Disclaimer: It helps if you know what the xmax on your subwoofer is (and have decent spatial recognition) and be able to hear distortion (properly). As you may have noticed this guide gives you some play on how to set it your way (louder at the lower notes with a chance of less hours of play or set it so you can play it for years without any problems on any type of music) If there are any questions, please ask (preferably targeted) questions. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
