ncc74656
im looking for an amp for 500-1K (lower priced the better but not at the expense of to much quality). i was looking at rockford 2500 @ around 1100.00, bass cleff from crachendo for 780 BUT it only does power at 1 ohm and my sub is 2 ohm. or a kicker 2500.1 for 650 on ebay. i had kicker before but it blew out a couple of times. it was most likley my wiring but what amp would you all recommend for this run? nothing, gutted
Keith77
You have D2ohm sub? Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Pauly1987
That sub does 3000w rms and u said its a dual 1ohm meaning u have a choices between 2ohms or .5 ohm finally load! A amp that makes its power at 2ohms is going to be more efficient on your electrical so a zx2500 or RF2500 are going to be your best bet unless u plan on dropping down too .5ohms (better have great electrical) then a sundown or crescendo 2500 at .5ohms should put you in the 3000w rms rang! Pauly1987
Side note.... You better have great electrical even for the kicker and RF amp! That's a lot of power for a stock electrical to produce
pioneerforlife
Soundstream X3.71 does about 3,200 at 2 ohms. with good electrical you could run it at .5 ohms and get upwards of 4K out of it. they are pretty good price too. not the best but its a solid amp. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud
