im45pl Posted December 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 cheers guys, it was in there for about a year or so, did me proud too for the money it was worth just some sanding done today.. boring but needed, just some shots of the baffle... its triple layerd 3/4 with a layer of 1 inch to go on yet. im going to paint the inside of the box aswell, just for my own satisfaction. but i broke a basket today so i have to buy a new basket and recone... not real impressed with myself but lesson learnt thats for sure TEAM DC AUSTRALIA My_Build_Log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can't that chunk be glued back together? Might not be the prettiest solution but with a little sanding and painting it might look decent. While I was pulling it out the car was on a hill and i undid the bottom screws first, it then kinad pivoted on the top screw I honestly done think it's worth buying a brand new cone (especially a carbon fiber cone) and a basket.
