On-going issue with H/O Honda Civic alt...is it the alt or the car???

I am currently on my third high output alternator in this car. Both my yellow top under the hood and xp3000 in the trunk have been load tested for bad cells etc. they are each fine. There is no indication of belt slip whatsoever not even silent. Big three upgrade is in place. The alt charges perfectly fine for a few days then just stops putting out amperage as if its a regulator gone bad or rectifier bridge that's somehow over worked itself. Besides mounting it in place there is a run of positive to the battery from the charging stud and a one wire charge lead that I spliced into a 12v connection for the regulator to operate off of so I don't understand where the issue is coming from as it seems quite cut and dry that everything is installed and should be working properly. Computer controls have been bypassed as well.

I got a dollar that says this is either a rebuilt alt or ebay alt thread. If so, sorry bud but stop wasting money on that garbage.

where are you buying these alts from?

ONLY reputable places that make reliable alts are mechman, dc power, and singer. i've had two ebay high output alts. my 15 year old stock alt outperformed them.

But when it comes to electrical failure regardless of adequate supplies and instillation il be the first to admit yes I am completely clueless

So guys...anything? Where do I start in diagnosing the problem here. Something somewhere is causing these alts to fail.
