I used to have the stax 5500 that had dual power and ground inputs it was rated at 3200 at 1 ohm I believe maybe less but I'd didn't sound too bad and to me it was the only amp I saw that they put a bit more effort in it to make it better I have yet to see another pa amp with dual power inputs I'll say it put out maybe a good 1500 watts and for the price that ain't so bad

You will not go wrong with soundqubed at all I run a single hdc 3 12 and love it. The only problem I see with the upgrade is your electrical. You will need a high output alt for 2 of those 2200's and I would say 2 more batts. (IMO on the batts) but a upgraded alt is a must.

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

Stay away from any Ebay high output ALTs really.

Mechman and singer are the cheaper choices. DC can be spendy

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
