Today I decided to make a portable power supply that would allow me to choose any voltage from about 1-25v on the fly. I've always thought it would be convenient to have something like this when it comes to troubleshooting stuff. This is what I came up with.

The meter on the right is the battery voltage and the left meter is output voltage.

I was able to power one of those 20w lepai amps with this thing even with an extremely low battery :D - Will post video soon

Thanks :D

I plan on using it to test stuff that I don't have a power adapter for, or I could use it to power random stuff like lights, motors, charge batteries, almost anything that requires a power source I could replace with this.

pretty awesome idea! also pretty sweet you have the skills to just grab a few parts and build it too! hell maybe I'd build one if they're cheap enough, what parts did you use?

masterbation is free, and even saves you money.sorry but someone had to say it

sorry, Jimmy...beat you to it (no pun intended)

LOLDON'T get a wife. Best advice I never got, and now it's too late <_<

My build: 12" DCON in a dorm room.

New/current build: 8" woofer, custom amplifier block, fiberglassed speaker pods
