sprkn_ranger Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 You got it...don't forget to fuse it all. Check out my build log! 4 Havocs in a blowthrough http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/187506-sprkn-rangers-blowthrough-build/
Kyblack76 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Like SPRKN RANGER said, make sure you fuse the line front to rear, in 2 spots. As close to the battery(s) as possible. Not just a single fuse. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
Pauly1987 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Report Posted December 23, 2013 Well the run from the front to the back is 10ft with the fuse being 300anl under the hood right now, would you suggest another fuse in the cab before the wire meets the battery?
mmets Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Yes. Front battery...fuse.............wire..............fuse.....rear battery. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177477-slowboring-07-trailblazer-build/Pioneer DEH-80PRSPRV 8MR400-NDY (eight) PRV TW350Ti (6)Sky High 1/0 OFC, 12 gauge and 8 gaugeTM Metalworkz battery terminals 120 sqft HushmatXS Power D3100 (6)Singer 350 Amp Alt Singer 320 (2)American Bass SQL3200 JL Audio JX360/4 Crossfire XS 8K (2) DC Audio XL 15s (6)
Kyblack76 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 Glad i said something. fuck yes. On the run from battery to battery bank you need TWO FUSES. One at the front battery, (as close as you can get it, for protection) and a SECOND on the rear bank. Again, as close to the battery as you can. Think about it. With one fuse, if a short happens, the rear bank will still be hot. Feel me? Can some one draw a pic ? and post it? This is very important. Running multiple batterys, with a lot of amperage, will burn the vehicle down with the quickness.... SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
Pauly1987 Posted December 23, 2013 Author Report Posted December 23, 2013 Ok simple fix I have extra fuses laying around!! Would another 300anl fuse do?
Kyblack76 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 What ever your wire capacity is, yes sir. SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
alaskanzx5 Posted December 23, 2013 Report Posted December 23, 2013 You can run a ground wire from battery to battery then ground the last battery in the bank to the frame. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
