Yea I told him that's what he should do but I don't know if he has done it. And about the words in red, with everyone I've spoken with who has experience with the 3.0 they have told me they play well down to 28hz, and yes I do think the bandpass would fit my goal. I am willing to hear other options or opinions I'm very open minded on the enclosure because I want to get the best output I can.

The box is the most important thing to make your sub play low notes or not.
What is this 31 Hz ? The Fs of the sub ? don't even look at that number !

I always thought 4th order bandpass boxes were interesting only if you have a small access between the trunk and the cabin : like a ski hole, or speakers holes.

I'd like to read more about that.

Now everybody wants 4th order bandpass boxes and amp running at 0.5 v : that's crazy, Clean Sierra !

My thoughts/opinion. First off that hifonics is NOT doing 1200. I respect hifonics products but I know those amps don't do rated. Maybe 800ish at 1 ohm. Second thing, that soundqubed 2200.1 will do rated (maybe more). The sdc2.5s will come to life on that amp (just take it easy). I Say get the 2200 no matter what! The 2 12s will like it and a single hdc3 18 will love it. Can't go wrong!

Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing!

You don't need a bandpass box, they have very limited uses. I don't understand what the hype is all about, with a ported box you get better results on music almost every time.

The Fs is 31Hz, but that number means nothing on its own.

A good ported box will give you the lows you want without sacrificing SPL and not having a narrow bandwidth.

What is your goal exactly? What do you expect out of these subwoofers? Which type of music do you usually play?

0.5v? :P That would be very crazy indeed.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

My goal is to have a daily that can play low and high. I expected the output to be double what it was with just the one subwoofer. I know that the 1200 isn't putting out close to that because I have stock electrical and before I put in the 2200 I will be upgrading my electrical.
