Originally had a Sundown 100.2 powering two Memphis 10" subs in a rear underseat enclosure. This is a daily driver, no competitions or anything. I sold off the Memphis subs and picked up the Sundowns, they're the shallow mount dual 4ohm model. My 100.2 amp needs repaired. I'm debating having that fixed or just getting a new amp. Can the Sundown adequately power these or should I get a new amp? Budget would be 225 max. Just picked up a new HU so funds are tight. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. The CT does 1300-1400 at 12.8 so what like 1500-1600 with the vehicle running? Seems a bit much to me.
