Had a mercury tracer do the same thing t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

Everytime it would start to overheat I would pull off the road and immediately cut it off and let it cool down. And add water/coolant as needed once everything was cooled off. It had a leak around the radiator and since I don't have a job yet I had been begging my parents to fix it for a couple of monthes now and they simply ignored the issue cause to them (if it ain't broke don't fix it) So now this is what I get. Now I'm stuck with no car when it could've been prevented but oh well. Thinking I want a honda or something more gas friendly and do a smaller build in a trunk but we'll see. Who knows, this could be fixable, but I'm just tired of pt cruisers in general with their constant problems and issues. wccfan12 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Report Posted March 16, 2014 Update**** It's been awhile since I've updated this. The car is back running in prime condition. Basically what happened is I spent over a month waiting and deciding whether to just get rid of the pt and get another car or to fix the pt. Found a cheap motor on craigslist with less than 35k miles on her. Was a steal at that price and needed nothing but to be bolted into my car. Even got a free transmission thrown in because the owner didn't want to take it off (hooray for laziness). So now long story short I'm back in the PT and it runs better than it did before my parents even gave me the car back when it had 90k miles on it. I'm really glad to be back in the pt and can't stop smiling ear to ear just driving in it everyday. Should be back in the audio game soon..Been having almost no luck in the job search until recently I was having a talk with my uncle and basically since he's the GM manager at a lander's Mclarty chevrolet in my city he's working to get me a job there. I hope I get it I'm basically playing the waiting game at this point and he says I'm going to be in soon making money they are just waiting on the proper paperwork because it's always a long process with all this job crap. If I land this job my pay will be in double digits an hour so I think that's fabulous for a full time college student. When that happens you guys will be getting a ton more updates. I'm hoping to have my rebuild done maybe in time for Slamology this year... Bout time to make it to some bigger shows farther away! Especially now since I have a newer motor and transmission and the car is decently reliable again.. thanks to everyone who has viewed this log and followed along since I made it. SMD forums rocks! wccfan12 Posted April 18, 2014 Author Report Posted April 18, 2014 Just wanted to come in here and let everyone know this build is not dead...I still haven't had luck with getting a paycheck every week job but I do odds and ends stuff for people every now and then and save my money. I recently got all the skars reconed again (second time) and painted my box after it being bare wood for 2 years. I also dipped my car anthracite grey and I love it better than the green.
