kbreudi
Ok i got an avital 2100 installed by a DEI dealer about 8 months ago...its great but i want the srien a little louder, so i bought two DEI 6 tone sirens...my question is, will threee sirens be too much current for the alarm brain or fuse and cause problems? Shall i just use a relay for the two new sirens and just get 12v relay signal from the current siren? Will this cause a slight delay perhaps in the second and third sirenc with the relay taking time to click? n8ball2013
you should be opk with three. i think its four and up you would need a relay put in for them. kbreudi
ok thats good, but i think there might be a fuse on the power wire that runs from the siren to the brain, what kinda amps does one siren pull? jack
ok thats good, but i think there might be a fuse on the power wire that runs from the siren to the brain, what kinda amps does one siren pull? no fuse between the siren and the brain. run 3 with no problem or go back and get the viper 1000 instead. it has a built in horn honk relay that will definately add some sound. or you can mod the sirens that you have and eliminate diferent tones so yours will stand out from the rest. Shyne151
Anything over than three I'd do a relay...
