bbeljefe
You don't need that much port area for that sub at that tuning, regardless of how large the box is. Not that it won't sound good but you run the risk of the sub unloading without some acoustical suspension. 25in² would be a good number for the port area. 20in² wouldn't really be too small either. ThatGuyWithAJetta
i really like your design, plus i know i've seen you around helping others so if it looks good to you i'll probably go with that one only issue is can i go without the 45 because i am very limited on tools and i don have a way of making one !999.5 Volkswagen Jetta 1 Planet Audio BIg Bang 15 Powerbass 1500,
Joe X
You don't really need the 45 so no problem with leaving it out, the inner edges of a slot port should be sanded enough to take away their sharpness.
slowfkncar
Ev1 15 - 34hz with 10 sq.inches of port per cube. 3.5 cubes net 500rms Ev2 15 - 32/34hz with 12 sq.inches of port per cube 3/4 cubes net. Ev2 has stiffer soft parts near identical to the SA line. You could run more port area and get louder, but you dont want to stretch the woofers mechanical ability if your doing over 3 cubes net. You could tune low like 32 as you mentioned. But i will say straight up at 34/35hz tuning it WILL be louder. Be sure to set the subsonic filter because at 13mm xmech 70%bl it wont be to hard to soft bottom with 40% more power
