The sub is good for 1500watts,500watts nominal/RMS,wanted to push a bit further than a lowly 500 is all Kranny,you know,an attempted hair dance..

Guest Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 2.6" voicecoil. the sundown sa is rated at 600rms. you really think your type s is going to soak up as much power as you're trying to give it? you'll have a long lasting air freshener that smells like shit for three weeks. aka coil stink. if you want to do a somewhat decent hairtrick without having the windows 3/4 of the way up, double the power and get more powerful woofers
Ahmed Johnson Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 You should wire it at 4. That amp gives you the right output for that sub at 4 ohms. Buy another one just like it and you can max that amp without a problem.
