thinking of buying 3 12 inch subs (2 ohm) and wire them @ 1.34 ohm, hook them up to a t1500-1bdCP, went to rockfords wiring wizard and got this

oblm.png

it states the following

"This diagram is intended for educational purposes and not recommended for Rockford Fosgate amplifiers." should I stick with the the 2 ohm subs @ 1.34 ohms or 3 (4 ohm) subs @ 2.67 ohms?

thanks.

That amp will handle that ohm load no problem. What 3 subs are you planning on running?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

That 1500 will put out a good 1800 watts. Those CVX's are going to meet their maker!! LOL

as long as the amp is stable down to the ohm load you are wiring to your good. The t1500.1bdcp will be fine.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

In 7net thoes cvx will take 2500rms clean all day everyday

The t-1500 at 1.33 will be somewhere around 15-1600 (17-18@1ohm)

Idd rather save some coin and get a q1-2200 to power them

On a side note

If you talking about d2 or d4 does that mean you don't have yet

If so have you considered other brands

I ain't canning kicker as I install heaps of them due to service and backup

But you could get 2x sundown x12 for that price and run a q1-2200 at 1ohm for the same price and get a hell of a lot more out of that system

depends on the box and if everything is set up right (clip/distortion free) you cant say they will handle x power just because of box size. its install dependent on if it can take power or not.

cant forget loading issues if the box has a poor design.
