I haven't found anything that works better. I usually reinstall Windows once or twice a year anyway. As for Norton their home/desktop products are junk imo, but their Enterprise software is spot on, and yes there is a difference. I use MSE at home, all the networks I've worked on use Norton Enterprise or Trend Micro Enterprise.
