Skullz
If you want custom then get one of these cause buying a custom made one from someone else is playing russian roulette. http://store.ficaraudio.com/ssd12/ 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

audiofanaticz
cool thanks. OP honestly there are better motors out there to rebuild. for the money you spend rebuilding that to where you want it (a true 1200rms handling), you could buy a quality new woofer. 100% agree with this statement. I gave away a type x motor to a buddy because it wasnt worth rebuilding to me, but to him it was. iirc it was a 3inch coil, but the gap is so narrow, and the coil they used from the factory was wound on the inside and the outside of the former and a rather tight gap. Trying to get a halfway decent coil to work well in the sub just wasnt worth the hassle. But that was my opinion.. same goes for those MA Audio Hard Kore motors people seem to go gaga over them and I just dont see the point rebuilding the 2 clunkers in my garage, they actually serve well as paper weights. Yea I've Rebuilt type rs before and looked at a type x but desided buying a new woofer from aq or dd was better. It will always be aq to me by the way lol. You just can't fit a descent coil in those motors. I once had an issue on type r with coil od being too big for the motor because the motor was made for a d4 not a d2. Just too much crap to deal wth for not much reward. Plus I don't like baskets on them and they are a bia to take off Buyer/Seller Feedback Thread: http://www.stevemead...5015-bump4life/ MB C220 153 Trunk Car Build Log: http://www.stevemead...d/#entry1840136 MB C280 Ipad Dash SQ Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194484-bump4lifes-new-benz-tony-c-relay-kit-pictures-ce-electric-audison-front-stage-installed/ My SPL Log: http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 BMW M340 xDrive Stock, for now.
