Type of wood for box?

so i got ram-designs to design me a box and was wondering about which wood to use for the build ive heard mixed opinions and just wanted to know, thanks

2002 Mustang GT Procharged

Procharger P1SC Supercharger, 8psi

Procharger Intercooler, Headers,

Borla Off Road X-Pipe Exhaust, Mass Airflow

Upgraded Fuel Injectors

SCT Flash Chip (Excaliber II), Throttle Body, Lowering Springs, Carbon Fiber Hood

-Rear 315/35ZR17

MDF or hardwood birch. Birch is more harmonicaly resonate, but plenty of people use MDF with great results.

would 3/4 MDF be fine?

MDF is what many high-end home speaker makers use. Just make sure it never gets wet. MDF soaks up water and expands like a sponge.

go birch from a quality lumber yard 9ply or above.

if thats not in your budget go mdf like i told you in the pm.
