HUP Stick Em Posted January 27, 2014 Author Report Posted January 27, 2014 Haha you probably know as much as I do that they don't make any good suspension for 06-13 impalas haha..I got spacers in it just for insurance and I put a whole new stock set of struts (said it was stronger than stock)

Ive looked all over for different suspension packages for this type of car and i can not come up with anything. HUP Stick Em Posted January 27, 2014 Author Report Posted January 27, 2014 Oh I know the feeling..I was even thinking about coil overs but I'd have to do custom like you said and I don't want to spend it or wait for it and the only thing I could come up with were those spacers even though I'm against them..but they're working for now so that's all that matters haha

Who cares if the enclosure isn't optimal for the subs. I'm excited to see how this turns out. Edit-From the pictures, it looks like around 80-100" of port total. I can't really count the opening since its not the true port area. That seems low, especially for the ultra low tuning of the bandpass. Im curious why the decision was made to tune the bandpass so low? Is your mid stage going to come on SUPER strong, and low(like in the 50s)? There are a few variables that would scare me with the build but it looks pretty. I wouldn't realistically hope for a 150 from the setup and anything over a 144-145 should be taken as a positive. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Judging by the screenshots, he has some fancy programs but doesn't seem to know how to use them in a subwoofer design. Good luck on this build, I hope you get your money back if you aren't happy with the output. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

I wouldn't realistically hope for a 150 from the setup and anything over a 144-145 should be taken as a positive. i agree with this... my first stab at 4th orders i did a 143 out of a single cab pickup with a bench seat... i also had 8 8s on a saz3500... that setup had a lot left in it but i sold it all before i could test anymore Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
