xxtony1105
Okay so here is the story... I was cruising down the road with my system full tilt and suddenly I started to smell something burning, like a metal type of smell. I though that maybe I was clipping and turned it down until I got home. When I got home I played it again with volume at max and played till that smell came back. Then I shut it down and checked the temp of the woofers by touching the cone/dust cap. They weren't even warm or anything like that so Idk what it could be. If you need to know I have 2 C2 Audio Threatcon-2 12s on a Soundstream TX1.2600D and all of my gains were set by using the SMD-DD1 Thanks for the help here. EDIT: I should also mention I have 1 run of 1/0 and I believe its CCA. It's from Knu Konceptz. Could this be overheating?

xxtony1105
That could be some excess glue burning off finally pull em and check em out visually i know what your talking about. It starts off with the smell of burning glue then switches rapidly to the metal like smell.
