Got the other end cap on and the middle divider. Only thing left is the second baffle, top and back. Getting really excited to hear this new enclosure. I really hope there is a noticeable improvement. We will see. Sorry for the terrible pictures. I didn't realize they were this low quality. I will take some more.

From what I'm seeing, the brace you've installed in the center of that box has effectively partitioned the box into two separate chambers with the port side chamber basically just being wasted volume.

Did you bore any holes in that brace before installing the last two panels or am I not seeing something correctly?

Some of the best shows are done by perfectionist in anchorage. They do some great work and usually have a good turn out. Then safe and sound and sound works usually get good turn outs.

I'll be up there on the 7th and trying to convince some of the valley shops to put on shows. Turn out in the valley isn't the best but its still fun.

No holes. I actually did it on purpose because the net volume would have been way to high for my E10 if it remained open. Plus it was the only way I could get the port to be straight instead of my current enclosure that has 2 180 degree bends.

What do you mean by too much volume? That doesn't look like a lot of volume to begin with and larger boxes help tremendously with low end extension. Plus, you'd have had a lot shorter vent length with the added volume.

It's all good and thank you for the compliment. I enjoy when members give me constructive criticism. That's how I got this far. I am just going off of sundowns recommendations of a max recommended net volume of 1.25 cu ft. The way I have it currently designed it is exactly 1.25 cu ft after all displacement. IIRC with the entire enclosure open it was around 1.6-1.7 net. Plus to get the port around 12-16 sq inch per cu I was running into clearance issues with the transmission tunnel. My main reason for the new design was to get the sub forward firing and the port side firing. I am hoping to gain a bit more output out of the sub in this configuration. So I guess in the end more SPL is the goal. Plus with my current enclosure I always have my seat up because I lose a lot of sound with it down.

Just wanted to make it clear that on the 7th I'll be back in AK. Not that there us a show on the 7th.

maybe sometime im the next month or so we could put together an AK meet. Just get as many people together as we can and meet up somewhere. Maybe we could all chip in on food and drinks to do a BBQ.

Got it installed and am very happy with it. Sounds much better than my first enclosure. Surprisingly quite a bit louder too.

I am super excited, today my order from droppin hz arrived. Excellent company to deal with. They got me what I need very fast even with me being in alaska. I ordered the following all in sky high audio:

35 ft ofc 1/0 gauge

25 ft ofc 8 gauge speaker wire

20 1/0 lugs and heat shrink

10 8 gauge lugs and heat shrink

3 ring terminal fuse holders

3 150A fuses

Everything I got is super beefy. Better than anything I have previously used. I also got a larger grommet for the new power wire and hardware for the much larger 8 gauge lugs to make new terminals. Today was also the first day I got my e10 a bit smelly. I turned it down as soon as I smelled it. Didn't hurt it, still plays great. Don't get me wrong this sub is great for an entry level woofer, but this confirmed my interest in a larger/better woofer is needed. I am looking at possibly doing a beefy 10 like a dc level 4 10 in my current enclosure or a 12 or 15. lol I don't know what I want to do yet. If I went to a 12 or 15 I would put it where my 40 section of rear seat is with it folded up. Anyways enough talk and here is a pic of the new gear.
