L7 15 bandpass??

Take the sealed specs for that sub and some say double them or triple them for the ported side.

So kicker says 2-3cubes for sealed that means 4-9 cubed ported if you want. But the best way to figure for a band pass box(from what I am told) if to build one and test. If you don't like it build another with different specs and test it. Then repeate if you don't like it

2012 Chevy sonic1xSQ HDC3 12 D2RF R1200d

140 square foot of Q-Mat(soon to be installed)

140.2Db sealed on the dash with TL

142 DB sealed on the dash with another meter (was dead on with the TL at a show i was at)

141 on music.

I've ran several L7 S15 : they love huge box, sealed, or ported.

Don't tune too low for 4th order ported : 35 Hz is good for an L7.

I can't tell you for 4th order bandpass. I've never tried that.

How do you give out advice on how to design a 4th order, then right after say how you've never encountered one. Please do not listen to this man.

45Hz? a milli a milli

lmao my point exactly

OP. The REAL way to tune the port of a 4th order is to tune the port to the peak frequency of the sealed section. That can found with a few tools, on being the SMD IM-SG and also the Dayton audio DATS. That is the best and, in my opinion, to the only way you should tune a 4th.

Because you are doing it for a job and not yourself

You need to try and idiot proof the install

Because you can't do it to the volume button

For a customer I would not 7net on 1k

Because your 250rms over rated and 1net over

But on 800rms after rise 6net 80-90sq" port at 35-37 is about nuce

Some can't see the difference between 4th order ported box ("regular" ported) and 4th order bandpass box.
