soundstream15 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 My friend bought a AB 500.1 a month ago from someone and 2 days it was working fine all day and then yesterday it just went into protect and won't come out. He tried disconnecting the amp and such and still won't. He opened it up and didn't see anything to be wrong, he said a cap seemed a bit loose. He is running at .5ohm Voltage holds around 12.8 so not bad and it's not mounted to his box. Could anyone on here fix it and how would would that cost?

Found a "FLUX" Capacitor on ebay. If I add this to my system, can I really travel into the future? And how far into the future? That probably all depends on how I ground it though, right?Dude dont even waste your money on capacitors get a second car battery preferably a kinetik or stinger or any other car audio battery use the battery that is correct for your systems true rms wattage do some research on the net for this. Go to kinetiks website they explain how to pick a battery from thier site that fits your system.

But damn a blown amp for a good amp that still puzzles me why someone would do this.
