Bang_Stang
ok, i got some question because ive never met, or built any 'super systems' i.e. meade's tahoe im thinking of building a custom box in my trunk for 4 15's do i need to build the box so that each of the subs is closed off to each other as in one box, and its sectioned off inside, or can they all be in just one open air box, and also what happens if i dont build the box big enough so that it is not the recomended size (smaller) does that effect the sound quality, or loudness, id rater it sound better than just loudness also its a 02 mustang, but after i build that, i plan on removing the back seats and adding 3 or 4 more 15s in a fiberglass enclosure, and i have NOOOOO idea wtf im doing then lol, but any halp on the trunk box will be appreciated =) Quote huh? did u say something? EricR
you're lucky if you get 2 15's in the trunk of a mustang. if you put a sub in less air space than specified it will decrease the output and quality. hope that helps. Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? banginAltima
Your best bet is ONE good 15 ( FI BTL, Rockford T2, etc.) with all the power you can put to it. I have seen the size of those mustangs trunks. You don't have room for crap unless you wall the wall. Good Luck Quote If you build it, db's will come... LoudBlazer
Id like to see 4 15s in a mustang! lol but i dont think 4 will fit, it would be a tight fit with 2. Id say go with 2 good 12s or one very nice 15 like dc, fi, re etc with plenty of power.
