Folks say he's good. Seems to do well in large-case GM applications and the like

But with smaller alts, seems pretty meh. Poor idle output and major heat soaking issues

I have a small case alt and it works great for me. With a SQ 2200 at full tilt I never drop below resting at idle and drop around .5 volts at 2000 rpms.

It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.

99 Hyundai Accent. Been running it since August the only problem I have is belt slip, which has gotten worse with cold weather. But other than that its a beast.

@OP, just FYI belt slip can be an issue with any aftermarket alt, regardless of brand. Smaller pulley combined with higher rotational resistance, puts a lot of strain on the belt. Some cars are better than others with belt wrap (which plays a big factor). Ask the company about that if it concerns you, most will be willing to work with you. Either suggesting a smaller alt that won't slip but will still fit your needs, or by swapping a different pulley to the alt
