Joe X
The subs when I had them playing individually were perfect yes, also I realize that I dont need a filter for a test tone, that is common sense, the LPRC filter was inline with the RCA's as in it was soldered into the RCA's, and I was playing the 25 Hz test tone because the filter was set to 30 Hz so I only got the really low end of anything, so to test out the drivers, 25 Hz test tone. I would redo the individual testing again just to see if something has changed since the last test. Also I would remove the filter when tested together or set it at much higher frequency than your test tone (like 60Hz for example). At a single frequency test tone two drivers can act differently due to manufacturing tolerances or due to incomplete break in of one of them. alaskanzx5
make a wiring digram in paint and post a pic of it here. the new can visually see the wiring you did. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Exscathe
That RCA LPRC filter is not adjustable, have to make a new one, and I will be using different RCA's and a different amp. I am going to wire the subs to a 1 ohm load tomorrow to see if that makes a difference, I really dont see anything else being a problem. Also on a 25 Hz test tone, both drivers slammed the house to bits and each driver was only seeing around 150 watts each, it was ridiculous. alaskanzx5
ok go back and look at kranny's post (post #14) and compare that diagram to yours. kranny's is the correct way. not sure one the wiring you did but I think that is the issue. looks like it could maybe work but I would just rewire to the diagram kranny posted and I can just about gurentee it will fix the issue. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
