Goshindo Tanaka Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Hi guys i own a 98 mirage i have a directed class d 1500 with 2 powerbass 15 in sealed stock alt (90 amps) 2 batt 1 optima red top front 1 kinetik 1400 trunk with 2 2.0 farad caps am upgrading to the ct sounds 1400 with 2 american bass xfl 1544 my question is which alternator you recomend me i live in PR how much amps ? and which brand am on a tight budget the most i can spent in a new alt is $ 300.00

If it doesn't come from any of those 4 companies, I wouldn't bother with it. You dont want to mix flooded batteries with AGM batteries. One or the other will suffer in the long run.
