chicopup26 Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 I've got an 02 sierra ext. Cab and I was looking to get a couple subs and I'm willing to sacrifice my seat even though I don't quite want to. I've got a budget of 1500 for bass. Anybody got suggestions? I primarily listen to rap and dubstep. The local audio shop recommends I get mmats juggs, but I don't quite have 5 grand to spend. (I don't know how to install it myself)
ToNasty Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 I have a silverado ext cab. I'm loosing the back seat again. I have 2 zv3 18s going in soon ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

chicopup26 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 I new to the mobile audio world. I have two crappy kicker cvrs in a truck box underneath my seat and it just isn't loud enough. I was thinking maybe two mmats dreadnought?
TeamHT Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 Super easy, is $1500 the total budget for box and subs? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
chicopup26 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 He said the mod for the blow through was 15 hundred alone not including any equipment in all I want to spend around 2-3k on everything including mids and highs
chicopup26 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 @teamht that's the absolute most I really want to spend on subs and amp
TeamHT Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 Plan on upgrading the electrical at all? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
chicopup26 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Report Posted February 20, 2014 I didn't quite want to upgrade the alternator, but I would add a battery if I had to
TeamHT Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 Then I would definitely upgrade the battery and do the big 3, which means you could run a nice 2,000 watts with no issues maybe even 2,500 watts. In this case more cone area on low power would be nice, interested in walling off? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
