LsChevy Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 I want to run a t2500 or a saz2500 in my truck...what kind of electrical would i need to run either of these amps?
alaskanzx5 Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 A good start would be a 300+ amp alt 2 runs of ofc 0 gauge big 3 solid frame grounds and at least an upgraded stock batt. From the you would have to see what voltage us then add batts if needed. Your talking around $1000-1500 in electrical to start with. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Kyblack76 Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 what is your stock alt? add biggest under the hood, and biggest in the rear.. youll be fine. (why does everyone think you need 4 bats and 4 ho alts for 2k? hell 3 k even?, depending on the OEM alt output of course( SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold

Agreene Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 i ran a dc 2k on a dc 180 h/o and 3 batts never dropped below 14.2 volts lol i then ran the same electrical on a ampere 3800.1 and barley dropped below 13.5
OrzechNJ Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 3 batts for 2k damn.. sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
alaskanzx5 Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 Lol hey the bigger the better. Figure that amp pulls 300 amps max plus the 50? Amps the truck will pull. Should be able to go hours without drooping playing music with a nice alt and 1 agm batt. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
