I made a few cal I squads for css back then with slighlty aftermarket ish controls. .. I mean does it really equate to a tangible increase in response time etc? Leopold and steel series in the 100 range. All from personal experience from my friends and myself. And all the research between us all. Once you go mechanical you never go back. Its absolutely worth the price. So amazing to type on. Much better feel. Than all of a sudden we had to practice surfing in backwards.. yea that was fun. Of coarse lots of scrims too but yea. I cant even surf no more, let alone play the game decently. I use this in games such as Arma where almost every key on the keyboard is used, along with my mouse to use more buttons. The M1-M3 keys are profiles sorta. M1 will be your infantry controls, M2 would be your pilot controls, M3 would be your vehicle controls if you like. You can set those to whatever you like. Comes with a little screen too, so you can see who pops in and out of teamspeak, ventrilo, or show your stats in game. Show the time, date, calender, RSS feeds, and so on. You can create macros as well. It goes for $45-$50. Just a thought. Razer also makes a similar one, with key keys and no screen but with mechanical switches. n1ghtsn1p3r Posted March 22, 2014 Report Share Posted March 22, 2014 I had a Razer Lycosa, but it would randomly start ignoring keypresses and stuff, until I had to disconnect it and plug it back in. Plus my keycaps were getting worn. Finally got a Ducky Shine 3 a few days ago. I've been wanting one for a long time, but they are so damn hard to find. I finally ended up ordering mine through NZXT (they were selling them as a limited edition to match their new H440 cases). I kind of wish mine had blue LEDs, but the red doesn't look that bad. Actually I'm getting kind of tired of blue anyway lol It's got some pretty sweet backlighting modes as well I'm probably going to put some O-rings on mine soon.
