CJ18
Not sure if this has been said, dont have time to read 3 pages. Track 5 is a -10db tone. This is most likely what is causing the "stink". If you are playing music that is mastered in anything less than that -10, then you are clipping the signal going to your subs. Retune with a -5(track3) and let me know what happens.
DylanBunch
What Cody said and also, last night I was putting songs I downloaded online in audacity and everyone of them was clipped, some upwards of +4db. TRTC360
I've said this once, twice, and i'll say it again. Damn near every single DC build i've sat in whether or not running rated power or a little more, or a lot more. They've always had a funky smell to me. Not typical burnt coil smell, maybe it has to do with the glue they use? 1 Quote '93 Firebird Formula V8 H/U- Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X395 Mids/Highs Amp- Hifonics ZXI80.4 Wiring-KNU RCA's, Speaker Wire, And Two Runs Of Trystar 1/0 G34 Red Top and a 180amp Ford Alternator www.youtube.com/TRTC360
