matt14 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Anyone run this deck? I run a Pioneer AVH4100 right now, but this came up for sale on another site and seriously thinking about getting it. Has 5v output instead of 4v. 13 band EQ instead of 3 band.Ive been looking for some reviews on this deck but cant find anything. 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-3
ToNasty Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I'll be honest I have no idea about that particular hu but I have always had more luck with sq with pioneer. I have had a few kenwoods and I hated them ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

CleanSierra Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I think you meant DDX896. I owned that HU and it was the best I've ever owned. It was stolen while I was watching a movie at the theatre with my girl. It's an amazing HU. Digital Time alignment, great EQ, 4 sets of 5V preouts, great xover settings. I'd Definitely own it again. Oh, and it was clean and unclipped to 35/35. Kenwood eXcelon units are hard to beat in my opinion, I will likely always run a Kenwood or JVC. I'm currently with a nice JVC that's built by Kenwood and it's nice for what I paid. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
