WillPwn4Food
Well... I've finally decided to run a dual-alt setup in the Taurus. Problem is, -nobody- makes/can make a dual-alt bracket for a 2001 Taurus. I have one guy here that can make the design, another that can fabricate the bracket if they have a design. So that's set. Only thing I was curious about is... How do I find a belt that will fit...? Like... How do I find a belt that is the exact size to fit this bracket? hdorre
Measure the design, or final product.. Then go to Gates' online catalog to find the right belt. tacomaguy1
take a string and wrap it around the pulleys, measure that go to auto parts store and see what they have close to that length.....some trial and error from there. If it doesn't fit right take it back and get the next size up or down until it does Team Flex Issues

WillPwn4Food
Thanks guys. Chances are I'll have to bring it to a mechanic with a few different sized belts, as I have little to no knowledge under the hood. They'd probably be able to fit a new belt faster than I could....
