Krakin
Big ass. Doesn't fit, make new terminals. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. TRON
Sometimes 16 gauge is cheaper because it's more popular. Just a thought. JimmyBaldin
Sometimes 16 gauge is cheaper because it's more popular. Just a thought. yeah but did you actually read the description? 16gauge will never handle 1 ohm and over 750rms. or can be?
bushroot
Sizing wire is done based on current.
alaskanzx5
IMO 8 gauge wire is used from amp to subs and those wires can see some un godly amounts if power and don't have issues. Sometimes people even user 12-10 gauge wire for subs passing well over 1k per sub. Those being fairly short runs of wire though. In conclusion 14 gauge should work just fine but 12 gauge would still be the better option. Could do bigger write going to the first speaker then smaller write going from speaker to speaker to though. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. hazestorm23
Just go with some nice 12 gauge
CleanSierra
The bigger question is this: why do you want to run your mids stage at 1 ohm? That's the least efficient the amp is going to be. Those PRO mids don't need monster amounts of power to sound alive. 14 or 12 gauge is plenty, to answer the question. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
