The first thing I look for is the certified run. With the toughest restrictions applied how much power does it make? If it doesn't do rated with those stipulations I'm not interested. You guys are right. The first thing they need to do is make rated so by reducing the rated you gain credibility. The issue then comes with durability and reliability.

If I was to buy this amp it would be to run at 1 ohm. Witch it will do over 3k cert in 1 ohm. Bigdwiz didn't have a power supply to push it past the 320 amps that it was pulling. And in the test what was it off buy 50w or something in all cert tests? No even enough to hear to the ear.I dont like the look of the amp or the name. Just sounds cheap to me. But if it last more then few years then I don't see the problem with it.

It did what at 13.3? 2600? Figure 10 percent per volt. It won't make 3k. It'll be close but not quite. Unless it's user efficient which if it maxed out his 340amp test bench it's not.

Offcourse you wouldn't hear a difference. :)

Still not a difference you would ever hear, even if it only made 2kw instead of 3kw.

Efficiency of roughly 55% at 1 ohm is a little low though,

Thinking is the root of all problems...

My power supply is capable of 320A at 14V continuous. It has surge capacity of over 500A, so that's why I was able to get over 7k on the dynamic tests and only 2600-2880 in the certified runs. I had my clamp meter on the main B+ wire going to the amp and it pegged over 350A during the certified tests. I'm not certain the amp gave up, I think the power supply ran out of current (even though the voltage was still showing 13.3). As I've stated before the certified and uncertified tests are brutal on an amp and unless you play music with extremely long bass notes, it's not representative of the "music" output. For the type of music I listen to, I like to take an average of the certified and dynamic, but that's just me.

Right and i get that bigd i just look at it differently. Imo it should do rated on every mode. If you start pushing it hard and it falls on its face that's not something i want to have to deal with.
