I think the problem lies within DC system and they have the alt for a wrong year in there. You may want to call and tell them you're not the first with this car and engine. I had some issues with mine fitting, howeverthere were some minor things that I had to do to get it fit. I just had to shime the front side out some and it corrected the problem..
