so I waited 3 months to get my alt that I got on black Friday sale GREAT sale btw no lie on that but not the point.

this 320 amp alternator for my santa fe 2004 2.7L has a big problem...

1) overall size is 2 big.

2) contacted with my driver axel and holes do not line up....

3) found out that it was not fully tapped so they Finnish tapping it.

so overall this alternator I have to give thumbs up for the look of it. it does look bad ass but does not fit and is way 2 big to be in the stock location do to the fact its mostly laying on my axel.

DC power help me out here I don't want my money back just the right alternator to fit in my suv.

They should correct it. My friend's didn't fit and they sent him the right one.

Yep, more than likely a Hyndai thing. Those foreign cars are all different from one another year to year, even same models.

As said, give them a call and work it out. Did you send any pictures of the factory alt? Just saying a 04 2.7L does not mean much.

Hope all works out.

This isn't the first time that they shipped an alt that doesn't match up with oem... recently as well.

Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult.
