Daniel Joseph Bragenzer Bond
well . the 2 HC800's under the hood I'm pretty sure have been overcharged. After taking them out. I noticed the positive terminals were both raised and the seal around it is cracked and seperated from the post. SO .. They toasted i say. Any how.. I got Put a new XS power D6500 under the hood now. Voltage all the way around looks better now. Seems to rest about 13.1v now till it sits for a while . then to 12.8v. But the problem still exsits. I can get it up a little louder now. but the bass amp still kicks off. So I guess its off to the rear batts now. Got the subs out. examined the 2 HC2400's . only thing i see on them is the negitive post seem raised. but all the seals look good. My guess. They are bad to. So time to save some money again. 2 XS Power D3100's are going in. Bye bye Kinetik

Daniel Joseph Bragenzer Bond
All my batteries went bad . And yet that still wasnt what was causing this problem. I think I have it down to a Bad ground. Maybe something happend to the ground when i had my little fire under the hood touching the uni-body.Old ground was to the uni-body. It was good before the fire. but now is no good. Going to change it to ground to my alt case. I hope this is it. Tired of this headache. Anybody else have a groung go bad on them? First time for me
Daniel Joseph Bragenzer Bond
well everything has been changed now.. Batts are new. cable is new ..new alt . back batts are now grounded to the alt case. voltage with car on is now 14.7v and with the car off and rested for a day its sitting at 13.1v. And Still my bass amp shuts off when turned up more than half way so fustrating. Anyone know of a good shop to have this amp checked out? Or does anyone know of a good 5,000watt rms amp at 2 ohm.. been looking around and have only found 1ohm amps. Im running a 2 ohm load and need at least 4,000 rms to push these RE XXX's. Any suggestions? best i have found is 2- sundown audio saz-2500"s strapped togethere. But they are'nt available on line. will have to go to a dealer for those. Any ideas? gr8handogoatness
Did you also check the amp grounds? Still sounds like a ground problem to me.
