Clamped my amp today, and big ass boxrise

Recommended Posts

Keep in mind that that rise is only at the certain frequency and could very well be at or below 1ohm at a different frequency which is dependent on enclosure design and woofer parameters.

This is your answer. Your rise is different across the low end spectrum.

I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before

Box rise...that's a good one.

I'm guessing you haven't done too much searching on amplifier clamping.

If you still have the ammeter and voltmeter handy try to test your impedance at 5 cycle increments from 15-65 and see what you come up with.

If you plan to play anything else besides 42hz tone you are spinning around way out in left field worrying about this.

Usually you would like to test a range of freq. Say 30 to 50hz. And write down all the clamps for each test. Being cateful to recharge the batteries after each test in order to keep the tests fair.

With the current and voltage being out of phase idk how relavent those numbers are, but if you really are geyting 6x rise thats alot.

How did you choose 42hz as the only test freq?

Setup:

Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt

Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000
